Our time at SonScape gave us the space and freedom to talk about the difficult realities of ministry that don’t usually get talked about. It gave us language for the tensions we face and tools to use to cultivate joy and longevity in both our marriage and in our ministry. The beauty of the setting, the skill of our leaders, and the hospitality of our hosts came together with God’s presence to promote a truly restorative week.

This retreat provided the space – both physically and spiritually – for us to be still. In the stillness and with guidance from our incredible retreat leaders, we were given a vision of our ministry that is clearer than ever before. There is work to be done for certain, but we are filled with hope! Everything about this retreat experience has been so lovingly thought through and planned with restoration in mind. The cabins are clean, fresh, and cozy. All the meals and place settings were so special and delicious. Every need was considered and planned for. We felt truly pampered. The retreat leaders truly blessed us. They are such genuine, loving, and powerful couple. Their love for the Lord – and for all of us couples – is immense and life-bringing.
