Before coming to SonScape, I had hit a wall. I came here knowing and trusting God would lead me through. He did. He used the counseling sessions to touch me. He put his fingers right on my sorest spot that I thought was healed. Needless to say, I experienced some real pain. The following day was Sabbath. I spent it meditating on scripture, writing a letter to the person that caused my pain, and crying. The Sabbath culminated with communion. Because I was feeling so vulnerable, I thought a communion service would be more than I could bear. My husband reminded me that in communion we come as we are – not as we hope to be. During communion, God continued to point His finger right into my soreness. And as he continued to touch through the broken bread and poured out life, I began to heal.
