Our SonScape retreat was life changing! We arrived weary and hurt, needing rest and hope. Our welcome nearly brought us to tears, seeing such beautiful accommodations and setting. The loving care from our host couples was desperately needed – a healing balm. The following days provided a safe place to rest and heal while gently being reminded of God’s presence and love in our lives. We were able to release losses and pain to Jesus, listen in silence, and allow God to show us our hearts. This took time and it was so good to not have to rush! We’ve never experienced anything as beautiful as this SonScape retreat and count it as one of the most important experiences in our lives.

From the moment I stepped foot into this place, I felt so cared for. The meals, the fun, the laughter, the reflection, and the fellowship was everything – but perhaps what made it the best was the heart, care, wisdom, and insights of those leading. They helped me feel safe and cared for. It was so nice being in a place where I didn’t have many expectations to “be on” and so many could sympathize with what I was going through.
