Attending a retreat is really not my thing . . . I usually feel pressured to buy into something or it feels overwhelmingly pointless. Thank goodness SonScape understands that God is really the value and source of rest rather than a well-planned program. We were cared for and it was God’s voice that was needed. I was even given the freedom to not like SonScape at all! In doing that, I was given permission to give my hurt, pain, and frustration to God and then be quiet long enough to hear His voice. SonScape is a place where you know you are safe because the leaders care more for you as a child of God than convincing you that their program strategy is far superior than others. Thank you for being willing tools in Christ’s hands.
